This is a log of the journey of Midnight Rambler, a forty-eight foot Chris Craft Catalina, as it circumnavigates America’s Great Loop. Although the boat has made this journey in the past with a prior owner, this is the first time that Captain Chris and his wife, Diane, will embark on this yearlong adventurous cruise. America’s Great Loop is approximately 6,000 miles of waterways through eastern United States and parts of Canada, including Canadian canals, the Great Lakes, inland rivers, and the Atlantic/Gulf and Intracoastal Waterways.
